Sunny

Sunny, an iconic brand under the IFFCO group, is primarily known for its cooking oils, but also for its seasonings. Sunny is present in markets across the Middle East, North Africa, and West Africa, including the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Libya, Nigeria, Ghana, and Côte d'Ivoire, and beyond. Sunny aims to establish itself as a leading brand in its category in these regions.

Our mission was to undertake a packaging optimization project for Sunny, with the goal of modernizing the packaging while preserving the brand's core attributes. The main challenge was to avoid any visual or identity disruption, ensuring a smooth transition for consumers while respecting local market nuances.

A key aspect of this project was adapting the cube format, which is particularly popular in these markets, where it is often sold individually. Maintaining the brand's consistency and strength in such a compact packaging size of 2 cm by 3 cm, while also focusing on iconography and flavor identification, was a delicate but crucial task.

This intervention not only strengthened the brand's consistency but also enhanced its recognition across its various products.
